In Kenya, many young people are jobless and they spend their
precious time going up and down looking for jobs. I was not exceptional and I
must admit that the journey was tiresome and very frustrating.
I was not lucky at all, but I think it was God’s plan. One of
my longtime friend introduced me to online hustle and I started with article
writing blogs. It was called bubblews.com. In this site, I could earn through
likes and comments of my posts. This was the start of everything and the reason
why I came to realize that former employment is another form of slavery. I
started comparing myself with friends who could wake up very early in the
morning to go to work and report back to their houses in the evening. They had
no control of their life but their employer.
Anyway, that story aside now. I then graduated to academic
writing and this was another good online hustle but with a lot of pressure. I
had no control of the time to wake up and the amount to be paid. This was a
hustle with cash but with a lot of stress. To make matter worse I had no
account so I relied on other people giving me work through their account.
I believe in change and I don’t believe in doing something
for long unless it is changing my life and with bigger magnitude.
This is what made me think of investing in long term
investment. I decided to start my own blog and market it. The big challenge
here was to start because getting AdSense is not easy. What I mean by AdSense is to qualify for
Google to advertise through your blog. This is the big investment and I am sure
am going places through the blog. I want to have more than five blogs and I
will be blogging on different topics and issues.
The other project I am doing is to work on my own site and
market it. I need to be doing assignments for the students and I will earn
something at the end of it all.
The best thing one can do is to invest online and believe
that they can earn a living through online hustles. It is well paying and you work
at the comfort of your home and without any pressure. Just try it today
